It's the second episode of our "3 Peas n a Pod' series.  We've invited a special guest to join us to discuss a book of their choosing.  Our guest is Mark Yoder (Stephany's son and Julia's brother).  Mark chose Dune by Frank Herbert for our discussion and we a had a great time digging into the story and sharing our thoughts.  Beware - there are many spoilers in this episode!

  • Aldous Huxley wrote Brave New World in 1931 (not the 1960s or 1970s)
  • Aldous Huxley used mescaline, a naturally occurring psychedelic with similar effects to LSD.   Doors of Perception was published in 1954.  Timothy Leary met Aldous Huxley in 1960.
